Product Description

On Sunday the 26th January 2014, UC hosted the fourth in a series of seminars called NEW BLOOD promoting some of the best up-and-coming instructors on the Combatives Circuit today; guys coming from a well-established lineage implementing their own individual take on the principles of Personal Security and Combative Hard Skills to a privileged class audience.

This year, I am proud to present three more of my UC Instructors from the Czech Republic who are also instructors in their own RBSD club in CZ, along with another UK-based Instructor in UC, Krav Maga and FAST Defence, David Stevens.

Events began with RBSD and UC Instructor Standa Vanek offering his take on fighting from a floored position. Standa, also known as 'Buffalo', gave an excellent presentation as you will see. He was followed by top UK Instructor David Stevens who presented his take on accessing Combative Fight State, which he fused to a progression of great drills. Next, we had another UC Instructor for CZ, Lukas Wolf - a former Czech champion in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Lukas presented his adaptation from sport-based combat to the street with demonstrateable application.

The final guest instructor from CZ was Radek Erben, a former weightlifter with a huge background in Combatives training backed up with plenty of live experience from working for many years as a police Detective in CZ. Radek's take for the day looked at counter offence methods of dealing with a common side headlock, taken into the realms of dynamic non-compliancy.

Lee Morrison presented the final slot as a bonus session, where we looked at street-orientated pad drills. What this production may lack in professional quality it more than makes up for in functional content!

Enjoy! UC 2014.
